Haawking completed tens of millions in Pre-A+ round of financing, Sequoia capital leads the investment

Beijing Haawking Technology Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of SMEI, has completed tens of millions in Pre-A+ round of financing recently, which leads the investment by Sequoia capital. Jiuhe Venture Capital and Suqian Ruida as the original shareholders added investment as well. Dr. Li Renwei, the Founder & CEO of Haawking claimed that the company will further expand its technical team and corresponding equipment to accelerate the industrialization of related DSP chip after the completion of this financing.

Digital signal processor (DSP) as a basic device in a wide range of fields such as communications, computers, industrial control, automobiles, and consumer electronics, is a subdivision that has a great difference between domestic and foreign in the industry of integrated circuit, especially in communications, industrial control, automobiles, and consumer electronics and other important markets related to National Economy and People's Livelihood. The process of domestic products substitution needs to be accelerated urgently. The birth of an excellent DSP design and application company is very urgent in China, which could break the foreign monopoly in this area and ensure the independent and controllable development of Industrial and consumer industries.
