From October 23 to 25, 2019, the first China MEMS Manufacturing Conference was grandly held at the Jinji Lake International Conference Center of Suzhou International Expo Center.
This conference is jointly organized by MEMS Branch of China Semiconductor Industry Association in conjunction with Jiangsu Nanotechnology Industry Innovation Center, MEMSRIGHT, Micro-Nano Processing Platform and Integrated Microsystem Packaging Platform of Nano Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and MEMS generation factories, platforms and institutions at home and abroad such as Minxin Microelectronics. The
conference aims to gather global MEMS manufacturing industry resources, build a brand conference in the MEMS field, strengthen the linkage of the whole industry chain such as MEMS design, research and development, processing and manufacturing, packaging and testing, promote the vertical integration of industrial resources with MEMS manufacturing as the main line, promote the talent gathering, technological innovation and achievement transformation in China's MEMS industry, and accelerate the breakthrough of the development bottleneck in China's MEMS manufacturing field. At the
meeting, experts and entrepreneurs in MEMS field from all over the world gathered to exchange and discuss professional technologies, and shared wonderful contents such as the layout of MEMS global market and industrial chain, the pattern and development trend of MEMS global wafer foundry industry, the development direction of MEMS advanced wafer packaging and testing market, and the application prospect and development direction of MEMS in intelligent terminals. Mr. Qin Yuping, Sales Director of Silex China, a wholly-owned Swedish subsidiary of Neville Technology's MEMS business segment, delivered a keynote speech on "Leading Innovative Process Technology, Double 8-inch Line MEMS Pure OEM-Silex Microsystems" at the meeting.
At present, the MEMS industry has a strong momentum of development and is booming in wearable devices, car networking, smart home, Internet of Things and other fields. The application-side market has driven the rapid development of MEMS industry, technology, products and manufacturing. MEMS is also bringing a technological revolution to the semiconductor industry and its terminal application market. The development of the market has prompted the domestic MEMS industry chain to become increasingly complete and growing. However, there are problems such as scattered MEMS industry chain, less collaboration between enterprises, lack of industry benchmarking meetings, and various forums.
The China MEMS Manufacturing Conference, which debuted for the first time, relies on the MEMS industry innovation resources gathered by Suzhou Industrial Park over the years and the MEMS complete innovation chain built. It focuses on the global MEMS market and industrial chain, wafer foundry industry, packaging testing, intelligent terminal application and other directions, and discusses the innovation and difficulties of MEMS manufacturing. It is the only conference in China that focuses on MEMS manufacturing.
Neville Technology takes sensing technology as its core and vigorously develops MEMS and third-generation semiconductor materials and devices around the Internet of Things industry chain. In 2016, the company acquired Sweden's Silex, the world's leading MEMS chip manufacturer, and introduced advanced MEMS development technology and production technology. At the beginning of this year, the company received a strategic stake from the National Integrated Circuit Industry Fund. The two sides are jointly building an "8-inch MEMS International OEM Line" in Yizhuang, Beijing.
