It is planned to build an 8-inch MEMS international foundry line construction project covering an area of about 35000 square meters, specializing in semiconductor wafer manufacturing technology development, technology transfer, technical consulting, technical services and product manufacturing, it is a holding subsidiary of Beijing Sai Microelectronics Co., Ltd., and the other shareholder is the National Integrated Circuit Industry Fund.
Through the implementation of a series of strategic layouts such as the acquisition of Silex Microsystem, a leading international MEMS foundry company, Silex Beijing has obtained strong and rich resources such as major special achievements and project accumulation, international advanced MEMS foundry technology, management technology and management team at the beginning of the company's establishment. The process technology team, Silex, the world's largest pure MEMS contract manufacturer from Sweden, has a 0.35um manufacturing process and more than 200 international patents. Manufacturing technology team, technical experts from home and abroad, with many years of experience in factory construction and mass production of well-known semiconductor companies at home and abroad. The implementation of this layout provides a solid foundation for the construction of the first 8-inch MEMS international foundry line in China.
The implementation of this foundry line construction project, on the one hand, will provide mature technical support and capacity guarantee for the research and development and mass production of domestic MEMS products, thereby promoting and accelerating the promotion of domestic MEMS sensor products to the Internet of Things, The industrialization process of wearable devices, consumer electronics, industrial equipment and other fields; on the other hand, it will also face the international market at the same time and is committed to becoming an important pole in the global MEMS foundry.
